Is My Opponent Cheating, or Just Running Hot?
Cheat tools cannot read cards never sent to you, and hot streaks usually come from playing more hands. After a Hold’em hand using default dealing ends normally, players dealt into it can verify the deal if the required evidence is available.
In BluffKing Hold’em, the server sends your device only your own two hole cards; other players’ cards and the board cards still to come are never sent during the hand, so a USB stick, cheat program or modified browser has nothing to read. With the default dealing, each hand’s deck order is committed before the deal, and afterwards you can press Verify under “Fairness detail” in the table menu: your browser checks proofs that the cards you saw came from that committed deck, so nothing was swapped. Someone who could see everyone’s cards would almost never put chips in and then fold, and would rarely lose a big pot at showdown. In a recent “cheat device” report we checked, the reported player entered nearly every pot, folded after putting chips in more than anyone else at the table and had ordinary starting hands; a few big pots that night just happened to bring straights and full houses.
A player who calls every hand sees more cards and so makes more big hands, and you only see the strong hands they show, never the weak ones they fold; we also checked 30 days of real hands and chip leaders do not get better starting hands. The real risks are collusion between people, such as sharing hole cards over a chat app or soft-playing each other (our servers automatically flag signs of this for human review), and someone who can see your screen or use your account; a compromised server or device is outside what this post can rule out.
